Check the prices we started you with, and publish them

Read the starter prices, change the ones that are wrong, and put them live so guests get a fare.

Plan: everyone (trial included)

When we built your site, we filled in a price for every service and every car. Those are our guesses for your city. They are not your prices until you read them and publish them.

Why your site does not quote yet

Every starter card is saved as a draft. A draft is never shown to a guest. So while your cards are drafts, a guest who asks for a fare gets an enquiry form instead of a price. You call them back with a fare.

That is on purpose. A price we guessed should never reach a guest before you have agreed to it.

On Sell, Launch, this shows as a row under Stops a guest booking: "2 places have no published price" (with your own count). It clears when every service you sell has a published card.

What the starter cards hold

CardWhat it prices
Outstation one wayA trip to another city, with no return. Lesson 5.2
Outstation round tripDays out with the car and driver, back to your city. Lesson 5.3
HourlyHours and km in the city, as packages. Lesson 5.4
Point to pointOne drop across town. Lesson 5.5
Airport transferTo and from the airport, by distance. Lesson 5.6

Each card also carries a name of its own, such as "One-way drops". It is shown under the service, and you can change it.

Every starter card starts on the careful side. Tolls and parking (and permits, where they apply) are paid by the guest at what they cost. Tax is in the fare. There is no night charge. Change any of these under the card's terms (lesson 5.7).

The airport card starts By distance, because we cannot know which areas you serve. Switch it to By place if you sell fixed fares to each area.

Draft, live, scheduled

BadgeWhat it means
DraftNot published. No guest sees it
LiveGuests are quoted from it now
ScheduledPublished, and goes live at a time you set
ReplacedAn older version. Kept for the guests it already quoted

A published card is frozen, so a guest holding a quote keeps their price. To change a live price, you start a new revision. Lesson 5.1 explains this.

Common questions

I published one card. Does the whole site quote now?

Only for that service. The other services still take an enquiry until their cards are published.

I do not know my price for one service yet.

Leave its card as a draft. Guests asking for that service get an enquiry, and you quote them yourself. Or switch the service off (lesson 2.7).

Do I publish my site again after changing a price?

No. A published card reaches guests on their next quote.
