Questions, answered.

What is a duty slip?

The slip a driver carries on a trip. It says who to pick up, when and where, and which car. The driver writes the opening and closing km and times each day, and the guest signs. You bill from it after the trip.

Is a trip sheet the same as a duty slip?

Mostly, yes. Cab operators use both names for the slip that goes with the car. Some companies also call a monthly log of one car a trip sheet.

Why does the guest sign every day?

The km and hours on the slip are what you bill. A signature at the end of each day means the guest agreed to them then, so there is nothing to argue about at the end of a long trip.

What does garage to garage mean?

The km and time are counted from when the car leaves your garage to when it gets back, not from the pickup. Most Indian operators bill this way; put it in the terms so the guest knows.

Can I print blank duty slips?

Yes. Choose "Blank to print" and download the PDF. It has your name, phone and slip number, and lines for everything else. Print a few for the drivers to carry.

Is my data sent anywhere?

No. The slip is made in your browser and saved only on your device, so it is there next time. Nothing is sent to PingTab.
