The booking form

Choose where the form sits, how its tabs are grouped, and how guests pick a pickup place.

Plan: everyone with a booking site

The booking form is where every booking starts. It sits on your first screen, with a tab for each service you sell. The guest fills it in, then sees your cars and prices.

What the guest does

StepWhat the guest sees
SearchThe form on your home page: the service, where from, where to, the date and time
OptionsYour cars for that trip, each with its price
DetailsTheir name and phone, and anything else the trip needs
ConfirmThe fare line by line, then they send the booking

The form on your home page is the first step. When the guest presses the button, the next screen opens straight on Options.

Service tabs

Each service you sell gets a tab. You choose how they are grouped:

ChoiceWhat the guest sees
Grouped (the default)Fewer tabs. Outstation holds One way and Round trip, with a switch between them. Local holds a single drop, a tour and hourly
One tab per serviceEvery service gets its own tab. With many services, the tabs wrap on a phone

Airport transfers and tour packages always keep their own tabs.

A group only forms when you sell more than one service in it. If you sell one way but not round trips, the guest sees a plain One way tab, not a group with one choice.

The tabs follow the order you set in What you sell (lesson 2.7).

Where the form sits

On the Classic, Everyday and Night looks, you choose:

ChoiceWhat it looks like
Beside the headline (the default)A card on the right of your headline and photo
Under the headlineOne wide row across the page, under your headline

The other looks place the form themselves, so this choice does not show for them.

On Under the headline, the row has no room for a switch, so the Local group splits back into its own tabs.

How guests choose a pickup place

This matters once you sell in two or more cities, and one has pickup places, such as stations or neighbourhoods (lesson 3.3). It applies to round trips, hourly and one way.

ChoiceWhat the guest sees
City first, then pickup place (the default)Two fields. Best with several cities or long lists
All in one listOne field, with places grouped under each city. Best with one or two cities

Tour packages

If you sell packages, you also choose how guests pick one from the Packages tab: Package, then car, Package and car in one list, or Package sheet (a grid of packages that each open their day by day plan).

Do it

  1. Open Sell, then Booking form.
  2. Under Service tabs, pick Grouped or One tab per service.
  3. Under Where the form sits, if you see it, pick Beside the headline or Under the headline.
  4. Under How guests choose a pickup place, pick one.
  5. Click Publish. The preview shows each choice at once; guests see it when you publish.

Common questions

A service has no tab on my site. Why?

It is switched off in that city, or the city is not live. Check What you sell and Where you sell. A service with no prices still shows: the guest sends you an enquiry (lesson 5.10).

Can I rename a tab?

You can give a service your own name in What you sell. The switch inside a grouped tab then shows your name. The group's tab keeps its own name, because two renamed services have no one name between them.

Do I need to publish these choices?

Yes. They are part of your draft, like your wording.

My pickup choice does nothing. Why?

It only works once you sell in two or more cities and one has pickup places. Add them in Where you sell.
